Since the students do not have school on Valentine's Day, today was their Valentine's Day parties. It was so great to see the students having so much fun and enjoying their class activities. It is very important as a SPED teacher to be mindful on special class activity days of when you pull students for their lessons. It is so important for students to engage with their class activities, even if it means not getting a pull-out lesson one day. Celebrating Valentine's Day with the students at Stanley took me back to when I was in Elementary School there and celebrating this day. I even got a Valentine from a sweet kindergartner I've been working with!
