I was supposed to begin my internship at Stanley Elementary on Wednesday, but a ice storm called for a day off of school for our district. I will begin tomorrow and I am very excited. It will be interesting to compare and contrast the SPED program at Stanley with the program at Wolf Springs Elementary that I was with last semester.

In one month, I will compete at the Educators Rising Regional Competition. I will compete in Lesson Planning and Delivery in STEM. I will be using my lesson plan entitled "What Does Your Watch Say?". To view this lesson plan, please see the lesson plan tab on my website. This is a lesson for first graders to review telling time using an analog clock with hours and half-hours. I am not sure how I will do, but regardless on results, it will be a great experience to compete at a regional competition.

I will write again tomorrow reviewing how my first day at Stanley went! I have a feeling it is going to be a great learning environment for me.
